Second edition 2025: identity and future

On June 27 and 28, 2025, the second edition of the Gran Sasso Storytelling Villages Festival brought together the mayors of the fifteen municipalities of the newly formed Integrated Tourism Destination, with the coordination of the IL BOSSO cooperative and the support of the GAL Gran Sasso Velino.

The program alternated lunch in the Gastronomic Village of Knowledge and Flavors, participatory discussions on the present and future of the villages, the screening of documentaries, and a concert of traditional Abruzzo folk music. There was also the Film Competition dedicated to short films set in the Storytelling Villages, with the awarding of winners and the screening of the film "PAESI" featuring Mr. Mustache, directed by Stefano Ianni and Francesco Colantoni. At the heart of the edition was the theme of urban and social regeneration of the small villages in the inland areas of Abruzzo.
