Edition 2025 — Il Gigante Racconta

In 2025, Pro Loco Farindola APS continued its cultural promotion of the territory in the town of Farindola, at the foot of the Gran Sasso, with initiatives dedicated to telling the story of the landscape, traditions, and the memory of the Abruzzese community, laying the foundations for the «Il Gigante Racconta» project and its Artistic Archive of Memory.

The 2025 journey

Throughout 2025, Pro Loco Farindola APS enlivened the cultural life of Farindola (Province of Pescara, Abruzzo) with initiatives related to the storytelling of the territory and the Gran Sasso National Park, including photography competitions dedicated to the colors, nature, and traditions of the village in autumn. These activities consolidated the bond between the local community, its landscapes, and shared memory, preparing the ground for the Gran Sasso International Award «Il Gigante Racconta», which weaves poetry and photography around the theme of memory and the history of Abruzzese people around the world.
