Edition 2025 — GP Giuliano Baronti

The third edition of the Gran Premio Giuliano Baronti took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Cerbaia di Lamporecchio, with 188 athletes from 30 teams at the start. Over the 130 km course, the race was decided on the San Baronto climb from the Lamporecchio side, where Matteo Mengarelli broke away from his fellow escapees to claim both the victory and the King of the Mountains title.

The third edition of the Gran Premio Giuliano Baronti took place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Cerbaia di Lamporecchio, in the province of Pistoia, opening the junior season. 188 athletes representing 30 teams were at the start for a 130 km race, completed in 3h13'16" at an average speed of 40.359 km/h. The race was decided on the tough San Baronto climb from the Lamporecchio side: seventeen-year-old Matteo Mengarelli (Team F.lli Giorgi), from Savona, broke away from his seven fellow escapees, winning the King of the Mountains title with an 8-second lead and crossing the finish line on Via Amendola 14 seconds ahead of the runner-up. The podium was completed by Matteo Rossetto (Borgo Molino Vigna Fiorita) and Yaroslav Prosandeev (PC Baix Ebre Tortosa). The event was organized by the Team Franco Ballerini.
