Gran Premio della Liberazione – Strade Bianche

On April 25, 2025, Civitella in Val di Chiana renewed its appointment with the Gran Premio della Liberazione – Strade Bianche, the cycling race organized by the Polisportiva Albergo-Oliveto. The event combined, once again in this edition, sport with historical memory: the morning was dedicated to the commemorative ceremonies of Liberation Day, with the laying of laurel wreaths at the war memorials in the municipality's hamlets. Throughout the day, the youth category races took place on the characteristic route that crosses the village of Civitella and the stretches of 'strade bianche', leading to the finish in Albergo.
