Gran Fondo Strade Bianche

The 2025 Gran Fondo Strade Bianche was held on Sunday, March 9 in Siena, coinciding with the great Sienese cycling weekend. Registrations sold out in a few hours, with approximately 6,500 participants at the start. The two proposed routes, the long 137.7 km (2,000m elevation gain, 10 gravel sectors) and the short 87 km (1,350m elevation gain, 6 gravel sectors), started from the Fortezza Medicea and concluded in the stunning Piazza del Campo, giving amateur cyclists the thrill of riding on the same white gravel roads as the champions.
