Edition 2025 — Desmontegada of Primiero
2025 Edition
The 25th edition of the Gran Festa del Desmontegar was held from Thursday, September 25th to Sunday, September 28th, 2025, in the municipality of Primiero San Martino di Castrozza (Trentino-Alto Adige). On Thursday the 25th, the Cattle Competition Show opened the festival with up-close encounters with the animals and stories from the breeders; on Saturday the 27th, the Welcome to the Farm experiences in Val Canali and the Pumpkin Festival in Imer took place, featuring creative workshops for children; the Dì del Formai at Palazzo Scopoli showcased the dairy production of Primiero. The culmination was the Desmontegada on Sunday, September 28th, with the descent of the livestock from Siror through Fiera di Primiero and Transacqua to Tonadico, accompanied by farming families in traditional dress.
