Gran Carvà Sansalvatorese

On Saturday, March 1, 2025, San Salvatore Monferrato celebrated the Gran Carvà, organized by the Oratorio Campanone with the municipality. The parade set off at 2:30 PM from Piazzale Santa Croce with four allegorical floats built by the oratory's volunteers, including "Il Campanone," "Il Granfiore," and "Il Brucomela," along with costumed processions like "Le farfalle" and "Bruchi e scarabei" created by the sewing group.

In the afternoon, the Businà was recited in the Piedmontese dialect by Mario Lombardo, the guardian of this tradition for thirty years. For the little ones, there were inflatable games in the square and a magic show by Mago Bingo. The festival concluded with the traditional bonfire of the Carnival effigy, bidding farewell to the end of the Carnival season.
