Edition 2025 — Gran Carnevale Portuense

The 40th edition of the Gran Carnevale Portuense took place in Portomaggiore with the float parade on Sunday, February 23, 2025, and the "La Mascherina d'Oro" competition on Sunday, March 2, 2025. For the occasion, the restored Salamatto mask returned, and the winner of the competition received a special tribute created for the 40th anniversary of the event.

Gran Carnevale Portuense 2025 — 40th Edition

The fortieth edition, coordinated by Marco Mercatelli, opened on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2:30 PM with the parade of three floats, accompanied by a symbolic fourth float from which priests Don Ugo and Don Davide threw sweets and games from the window of the Cinema Teatro Smeraldo. On Sunday, March 2, 2025, the "La Mascherina d'Oro" competition was held, with prizes for all participants and a special recognition, created for the fortieth anniversary, for the most beautiful costume. In 2025, the restored Salamatto mask, the gastronomic and identity symbol of Portomaggiore, also led the celebration.
