Edition 2025 — Gradara Contemporanea
Gradara Contemporanea 2025 - Keita Miyazaki and 34 artists
From June 6 to July 6, 2025, Gradara celebrated the fifth edition of Gradara Contemporanea, transforming the medieval village in the Province of Pesaro and Urbino into a capital of contemporary art. The exhibition involved four exhibition spaces: the Rocca Demaniale, the MARV - Rubini Vesin Museum of Art, Villa Conventino, and the renovated Historical Museum.
The highlight of the edition was the solo exhibition by Japanese artist Keita Miyazaki (Tokyo, 1983), displayed at MARV in collaboration with the Rosenfeld Gallery in London. His post-industrial sculptures made of metal, felt, and origami paper propose a poetics of duality and reconciliation, transforming scrap materials into delicate totems. Two of the artist's works were placed in dialogue with the masterpieces of the Rocca, from the famous Della Robbia panel to Lucrezia Borgia's Chamber. The exhibition brought together a total of 34 Italian and international artists.
