Gorino Fair

The 2025 edition of the Gorino Fair re-enacted, in the hamlet of the Municipality of Goro (Ferrara), the end-of-summer ritual most cherished by the community. For the September weekends, Piazza della Libertà came alive with the evening market of sweets, piadine, fruit, vegetables, and various objects, in a village atmosphere.

As tradition dictates, the most intense moment was the procession with the 18th-century wooden statue of the Blessed Virgin of Mercy, carried on the shoulders of the women of Gorino along the village streets, and the sea procession with the placement of the statue of Saint Anthony in the Sacca di Goro, sealing the village's bond with fishing and the waters of the Po Delta.
