Edition 2025 — Good Friday Way of the Cross
Good Friday 2025 fell on April 18th, as part of the Easter Triduum celebrations. The main procession, organized by the parish of San Pietro Apostolo in San Francesco alle Scale, started from the Cathedral of San Ciriaco and ended in Piazza San Francesco.
Numerous parishes animated the neighbourhoods with their evening Way of the Cross processions: Santa Maria delle Grazie and San Francesco d'Assisi (departure at 9:30 PM from Piazza delle Palombare), Christ the Worker (9:00 PM from Piazzale Camerino), Holy Family Salesians (9:00 PM, along via Vallemiano and corso Carlo Alberto), Santa Maria di Loreto al Pozzetto (9:30 PM), and the parishes of Brecce Bianche (San Giuseppe Moscati, San Gaspare del Bufalo, and Sacred Heart, 9:00 PM).
The Local Police, as usual, imposed parking bans and traffic restrictions in the affected areas to ensure the safe conduct of the processions.
