In 2025, Good Friday in Triora renewed the procession with the Descent of Christ from the Cross, through the narrow streets of the medieval village illuminated by torches and accompanied by funeral marches, in one of the most evocative Easter celebrations in the Imperia hinterland.
The 2025 edition of Good Friday confirmed the intensity of the rite in Triora. In the evening, the Descent of Christ from the Cross and the procession traversed the narrow streets of the historic center illuminated by torches.
Amidst funeral marches and the medieval atmosphere of the village, the celebration attracted faithful and visitors, reaffirming itself as one of the most heartfelt moments of Holy Week in the upper Argentina valley.
