Edition 2025 — Goat Fair
The 2025 edition of the Goat and Donkey Fair attracted breeders and thousands of visitors from all over Lombardy to Ardesio, featuring the traditional goat competition, mountain craft demonstrations, cheese stands, and Bergamasque folk music. A day of celebration dedicated to the rural culture of the Orobie Alps.
In 2025, the Goat and Donkey Fair confirmed its role as the major winter livestock event in the Seriana Valley.
In Ardesio, an Orange Flag village, breeders and visitors filled the town center for the goat competition, exhibitions of animals and equipment, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and stands dedicated to goat cheeses. The event, organized by Pro Loco Ardesio, reaffirmed the territory's strong connection to mountain farming culture.
