Giugliobasket — International Sea Tournament

The seventeenth edition of Giugliobasket, held in Giulianova (TE) between late May and early July 2025, confirmed the tournament as one of the most important youth basketball events in Italy. The program brought together eight tournaments spread over five weeks, covering categories from Aquilotti and Esordienti up to Under 16, featuring the traditional Marevivo Tournament (Under 13), Sea Trophy (Under 16), and Spiaggia d'Oro Tournament (Under 15).

In addition to numerous Italian clubs, the 2025 edition welcomed foreign teams from Austria, Argentina, Switzerland, and Lithuania, confirming the international prestige achieved. The courts set up by the sea, between Piazza del Mare and Lungomare Zara, provided the backdrop for days of sport, friendship, and exchange among young players from all backgrounds, in a blend of competition and the holiday spirit typical of the Abruzzo Riviera.
