Edition 2025 — Gitschberg Start Cup

The 32nd edition of the Gitschberg Start Cup took place on August 29-30, 2025, in Meransen/Maranza. Friday was dedicated to group training on the artificial ice track, while Saturday hosted the competition for youth, junior, and senior categories (singles and doubles), followed by the awards ceremony. The event reaffirmed its role as an international pre-season training appointment.

32nd Edition — August 29-30, 2025

The Gitschberg Start Cup 2025, now in its 32nd edition, was held in Meransen/Maranza (Rio di Pusteria/Mühlbach, South Tyrol) on the weekend of August 29-30. On Friday, August 29, group training sessions took place on the short artificial ice track (morning and evening slots), while the competition was held on Saturday, August 30.

The race program featured junior categories (women's, men's, and doubles) and the youngest athletes (born between 2012 and 2018) in the morning, concluding with the senior trials (women's, men's, and doubles) and the awards ceremony. As per tradition, the event attracted athletes from several nations, with the Italian national team taking center stage in this pre-season preparation event organized by ASV Gitschberg.
