Gissi Tour 2025: the sixth edition
On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the village of Gissi, in the province of Chieti, hosted the sixth edition of the Gissi Tour, the road race of approximately 7.5 kilometers included in the regional Corri l'Abruzzo circuit.
Amateur and professional runners from various parts of Abruzzo competed on the track that crosses the town and the surrounding hills of the Vastese area. The event, included in the Gissi Summer program promoted by the Municipality of Gissi, confirmed the participation of Olympic marathoner Alberico Di Cecco, the event's historic ambassador. The evening concluded with the awards ceremony, amidst the participation of the local public and running enthusiasts.
