Gissi Summer Festival

The 2025 edition of the Gissi Summer Festival was presented by the Municipality of Gissi with a program designed to involve all age groups, focusing on sociality, culture, and entertainment. The calendar included recreational initiatives for children, cultural events with a local theater company and the group "Dai voce al tuo tempo", dedicated to dialect poetry and folk tales, as well as the performance of the Le Voci del Vastese choir.

For young people, there was no shortage of concerts and 80s and 90s themed musical evenings with DJs. There was also plenty of room for sports, with a new edition of the Gissi Tour running race, included in the "Corri l'Abruzzo" circuit, with the presence of Olympic athlete Alberico Di Cecco, and for traditions, with the celebration of the anniversary of the "Città di Gissi" band, a historic musical symbol of the village in the province of Chieti.
