Giro delle Contrade

The 21st edition of the Giro delle Contrade confirmed the massive popular participation of this charity run, with over 2,000 runners of all ages flooding the streets of the historic center of Intra, Verbania. A recreational and primarily charitable event, the 2025 edition was dedicated to Giancarlo Loraschi and Maria Antonietta Ubezio. The proceeds, after organizational expenses, were allocated to three projects in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola area: the Italian Red Cross Verbania section, for the purchase of a tent structure for sporting events and natural disasters; the Consorzio Servizi Sociali Dev Verbano, for the completion of a parent-child meeting area; and the School Project, for the purchase of educational materials.
