Giro del Falco (Falcon Trail)

The 25th edition of the Giro del Falco, held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, celebrated a quarter-century of history for the Gravina in Puglia trail race. 230 athletes from all over Puglia and neighboring regions participated in the 15-kilometer competitive course in the Bosco Difesa Grande, valid as a national FIDAL trail, with 189 reaching the finish line.

Among the men, local runner Giuseppe Scarci (Dynamyk Fitness Palo del Colle) won with a time of 1:00:02, ahead of Giuseppe Moliterni (Atletica Amatori Corato) in 1:02:23. In the women's category, Luisa Dragonetti (Trani Marathon) took the win in 1:16:12, followed by Giovanna Carrieri (Quelli dell'Alba Martina Franca). The day, organized by the Polisportiva Dorando Pietri, concluded with the usual celebration featuring typical Murgia products.
