Giro d'Italia Women — Stage 1 Cesenatico-Ravenna

In 2025, the Giro d'Italia Women celebrated its 35th edition, held from July 6 to 13. The race started in Bergamo with an individual time trial in the heart of Bergamo Alta, followed by seven road stages for a total of approximately 940 km and 14,000 meters of elevation gain. The route crossed Lombardy, Trentino, Veneto, Emilia-Romagna, and Marche, offering three uphill finishes before the grand finale on Sunday, July 13, at the Enzo and Dino Ferrari Circuit in Imola.

The 2025 edition confirmed the growth of Italian and international women's cycling, paving the way for the 2026 Big Start entrusted to Romagna and Cesenatico.
