Edition 2025 — Marostica Chess Museum
In 2025, the Marostica International Chess Museum was not yet open; the inauguration took place in May 2026. During 2025, setup work for the new cultural hub within the Lower Castle was carried out, funded by PNRR and municipal funds.
During 2025, the "Giovanni Longo" International Chess Museum was still under construction: the public opening did not occur until May 2026. Throughout the previous year, setup work continued inside Marostica's Lower Castle (province of Vicenza), funded by the PNRR and the Municipality. The project brought to life Italy's first international chess museum, destined to further enhance the chess-oriented identity of the walled town.
