Edition 2025 — Giovaninfesta

The 2025 edition of Giovaninfesta, the 38th of the diocesan event, took place in Lampedusa, an island that serves as a symbol of hospitality in the Mediterranean. Consistent with the itinerant nature of the festival, the island setting gave the event a strong sense of testimony and fraternity, before the return of the Cross and the organization on the mainland in Canicattì for the 2026 edition.

Giovaninfesta 2025 in Lampedusa

The 2025 edition of the Giovaninfesta of the Archdiocese of Agrigento was held in Lampedusa, an emblematic place of hospitality and encounter between peoples in the heart of the Mediterranean. Faithful to the itinerant tradition that brings the festival to a different center of the diocese each year, the choice of the island highlighted themes of solidarity and fraternity.

At the end of the day, the Cross that symbolizes the event was handed over to the youth of Canicattì, who would host the following edition in 2026, providing continuity to a journey that has united the youth of the entire province of Agrigento for nearly forty years.
