Giostra della Stella - Palio delle Contrade of Bagno a Ripoli

The 46th edition of the Giostra della Stella - Palio delle Contrade of Bagno a Ripoli was held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at the Giardini Silvano Nano Campeggi, at the end of a week of events (September 8-14) featuring an opening aperitif, a general rehearsal of the pageant, a Palio presentation dinner, and the knights' Provaccia.

The main day featured afternoon Renaissance games between the Cavallo, Mulino, and Torre Contrade — including egg racing, tug-of-war, sack racing, hoop racing, and cart racing — followed in the evening by the historical costume pageant and the nocturnal Giostra della Stella. The Cavallo Contrada emerged victorious, ending a seven-year drought and claiming its tenth Palio.
