Giostra dell'Arme di San Gemini

In 2025, the Giostra dell'Arme di San Gemini reprised its historic format: from the opening with the announcement decree to the final equestrian competition on the second Sunday in October, the historic center experienced weeks of celebration. Every evening, the Rione Taverns of Rocca and Piazza served traditional dishes, while parades in costume, exhibitions, and shows accompanied the reenactment in honor of the patron saint Santo Gemine. The chivalric challenge between the two districts — six knights competing to pierce the ring and strike the 'arme' — reaffirmed the prestige of an event considered among the most technically demanding in Italy.
