Giostra dei Ventimiglia 2025 - 35th edition

The 35th edition of the Giostra dei Ventimiglia was held in Geraci Siculo from Friday, August 1 to Sunday, August 3, 2025. On August 1st and 2nd, at 8:30 PM, the re-enactment "U Conti cumanna" was staged in the archaeological area of the Ventimiglia Castle, a journey through ancient crafts at the court of Francesco Ventimiglia, organized by the Pro Loco.

Sunday, August 3rd was the highlight: from 10:00 AM, medieval entertainment by the "Rione Panzera" flag-wavers in Piazza del Popolo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the welcoming of mayors and knights from the County's towns, and the swearing-in and blessing of the knights. In the afternoon, the historical pageant and, on the field, the Knights' Joust with 14th-century chivalric games, which saw over thirty knights and amazons representing the towns of the Madonie and Nebrodi compete.

August 1-2, 8:30 PM - Castle archaeological area: historical re-enactment "U Conti cumanna", a journey through ancient crafts at the court of Francesco Ventimiglia (organized by the Pro Loco). August 3, 10:00 AM - Piazza del Popolo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele: medieval entertainment with the "Rione Panzera" flag-wavers; 10:30 AM welcoming of mayors and knights of the County's towns; 11:30 AM swearing-in and blessing of the knights; 3:30 PM start of the historical pageant; 4:30 PM Knights' Joust with 14th-century chivalric games.
