Edition 2025 — Ginestra d'Oro
Twenty-five years of Ginestra d'Oro
On Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 9:00 PM, Piazza Cesare Battisti in Marcellina hosted the 25th edition of the Ginestra d'Oro International Dance Award, a symbolic milestone for an accolade born in 2000. The evening was organized by the Giornale della Danza, the La Gioia di Danzare school, and the Pro Loco of Marcellina, with the support of the municipality, under the artistic direction of Sara Zuccari and with Emilio Carelli as jury president.
The 2025 awardees
Among the honors presented were those to Oriella Dorella, étoile of the Teatro alla Scala; choreographer Manuel Lo; journalist Carmela Piccione; Alessandro Rende, teacher at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma dance school; choreographer Francesco Annarumma; étoile Rebecca Bianchi of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma; Mvula Sungani, choreographer and dance consultant; and étoile Emanuela Bianchini. As in 2025, admission was free, confirming the popular appeal of an event that remains one of the most followed in the Aniene Valley.
