Edition 2025 — Giganti in Volo

The second edition of Giganti in Volo took place from June 13 to 15, 2025, in Roca Vecchia, on a four-hectare site near the archaeological area. Kite flyers from all over Italy and abroad flew giant and acrobatic kites, amidst live concerts, construction workshops, local food tastings, and children's entertainment. The edition was part of the "Blu Festival" program in Melendugno.

Giganti in Volo 2025 — 2nd edition

From June 13 to 15, 2025, the sky over Roca Vecchia (Melendugno, Lecce) was filled once again with giant kites for the second edition of Giganti in Volo, on a four-hectare area overlooking the Adriatic. Promoted by the Municipality of Melendugno with the patronage of the Province of Lecce and the Puglia Region and the support of the Lecce Chamber of Commerce, the event featured continuous exhibitions of artistic and acrobatic kites, the "wind garden," experiential workshops, tastings of local products, and live concerts. The event, with free admission and accessibility for people with disabilities, was part of the "Blu Festival" program.
