2025 Edition — The first Giaggiolo Festival

The first edition of the Giaggiolo Festival was held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, on the lawn of the Abbey of San Salvatore a Soffena, in Castelfranco Piandiscò, Tuscany. The event, with free admission, celebrated the agricultural tradition of the iris pallida, the star of the May bloom in the Pratomagno area.

The day began at 9:00 AM with the Giaggiolo Walk through the fields. From 10:00 AM, the Animarte play areas, canvas painting workshops, market stalls, and food services were active. The children's area offered games and a comedy theater show with the clown Lacoste.

At 3:00 PM, the first Giaggiolo Symposium "The value of essence" took place, featuring the mayor, the president of the Cooperativa Toscana Giaggiolo, producers, and a landscape architect. In the evening, from 7:00 PM, live music with The Hani closed the event.
