The Geraci Siculo Carnival in 2025
In 2025, the Geraci Siculo Carnival was part of the rich calendar of the Madonie Carnival, which every year involves various towns in the province of Palermo with allegorical floats and masked groups. The village of Geraci, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, renewed its tradition with parades through the streets of the historic center and the participation of neighboring Madonie communities.
As is customary, alongside the float parade, the masked equestrian parade took place, a distinctive element of the Geraci Carnival that highlights the village's historical bond with equestrian tradition and the ancient County of the Ventimiglia. The festival concluded with the awarding of the best masks.
