Geopark Day

In 2025, the Sesia Val Grande UNESCO Global Geopark participated in the European Geoparks Week, scheduled from May 24 to June 7, with a series of events spread throughout the Valsesia and Val Grande regions. As every year, the geopark days combined scientific outreach with landscape discovery, highlighting the geological heritage that led UNESCO to recognize this area as a Global Geopark.

Through guided hikes, workshops, and training sessions, the 2025 edition reaffirmed the geopark's focus on the Sesia River and the link between the environment, outdoor sports, and geotourism, laying the groundwork for the following year's "River Edition" in Scopa.
