Edition 2025 — GeoGravel Tuscany
The 2025 edition of GeoGravel Tuscany took place on May 31 and June 1 in Pomarance, with start and finish at the Piazzone. Four routes were offered through the geothermal hills of the Val di Cecina: Short (46 km), Medium (77.2 km), Long (135 km), and Ultra (208 km), winding through nature reserves, villages, and the white roads beloved by Tuscan gravel riders.
The 2025 routes
The 2025 edition of GeoGravel Tuscany confirmed the four-track format with start and finish at the Piazzone of Pomarance:
- Short — 46 km and 1,000 m of elevation gain, through the Monterufoli Nature Reserve and the villages of Libbiano and Serrazzano, with approx. 15 km of gravel.
- Medium — 77.2 km and 1,480 m of elevation gain, with nearly 25 km of gravel roads through forests and olive groves, with a stop in Querceto.
- Long — 135 km and 2,780 m of elevation gain, with over 45 km of gravel reaching Bolgheri and its winemaking traditions.
- Ultra — 208 km and 4,360 m of elevation gain, split into two loops, with over 100 km of gravel roads.
In 2025 as well, the event, set in the geothermal hills of the Province of Pisa, combined sport, nature, and conviviality in the spirit of the project conceived by Paolo Bettini.
