Edition 2025 — Gaudete!

In 2025, the Gaudete! International Early Music Festival celebrated its 16th edition, spreading from Valsesia to other provinces of upper Piedmont with concerts and musical talks ranging from early music to contemporary repertoire. Among the events was the concert on June 6, 2025, at the Basilica of Maria Vergine Assunta of the Sacro Monte di Varallo, featuring five-voice motets from the 'Canticum canticorum'.

The 16th edition of the Gaudete! Festival, organized by the Triacamusicale Association of Varallo, took place in the summer of 2025, confirming the festival's travelling format across the churches and historic sites of Valsesia and upper Piedmont.

Among the concerts, on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 9:00 PM, the Basilica of Maria Vergine Assunta of the Sacro Monte di Varallo hosted a program of five-voice motets taken from the Canticum canticorum, Liber quartus. The program alternated vocal, instrumental, and choral pieces, with a constant focus on enhancing the historical and artistic heritage of the territory.
