Edition 2025 — Gaudete! in Civiasco

In 2025, the Gaudete! International Early Music Festival presented its 16th edition, with an itinerant program of concerts distributed among the churches and historical sites of Valsesia and the province of Vercelli. Civiasco, with its Church of San Gottardo, was also part of the territory covered by the festival dedicated to early, Baroque, and Renaissance music performed on period instruments.

The 2025 edition of the Gaudete! International Early Music Festival confirmed the itinerant formula that has characterized the event for years: a series of early and Baroque music concerts hosted in churches, oratories, and historical sites of Upper Piedmont, between Valsesia and the province of Vercelli.

Directed by Mara Colombo and organized by the Associazione Triacamusicale, the festival continued in 2025 to promote the link between music and heritage, bringing ensembles and soloists specialized in period instruments to highly evocative places like Civiasco and its Church of San Gottardo, nestled in the alpine setting of Valsesia.
