Gattopardo Festival 2025 – 20th Edition

The 20th edition of the Gattopardo Festival was held in Santa Margherita di Belice from August 1 to 3, 2025, in Piazza Matteotti, in front of the Palazzo Filangeri di Cutò. The Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa International Literary Prize was awarded to Alberto Anile and Maria Gabriella Giannice for the essay Operazione Gattopardo, published by Feltrinelli.

The first evening was dedicated to the "L'Officina del Racconto" Prize, featuring young storytellers from the Belice Valley and music by Mario Incudine. The gala evening saw the participation of actress Violante Placido, director Tom Shankland, and tenor Piero Mazzocchetti. The festival concluded with "The Gattopardo Kitchen," a gastronomic evening featuring creations by master pastry chef Nicola Fiasconaro.
