Edition 2025 — Gatto Nero Festival

In 2025, the Gatto Nero Festival took place in Sassi di Molazzana on August 14th and 15th, staying true to the Garfagnana Ferragosto tradition. The food stalls featured typical valley dishes, from 'black cat' penne to spelt minestrone, accompanied by live music and evening DJ sets, with wooden games in the village streets on the afternoon of Ferragosto.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Gatto Nero Festival was held on August 14th and 15th in the hamlet of Sassi, in Molazzana, organized by A.S. Sassi-Eglio. The festival offered Garfagnana culinary specialties, with dinner on August 14th and lunch and dinner on Ferragosto.

The program included live music and DJ sets in the village squares and traditional wooden games in the streets on the afternoon of August 15th, confirming the event as one of the most anticipated moments of the summer in Molazzana.
