Gassltörggelen

In 2025, the Gassltörggelen of Chiusa/Klausen was held over the weekend of September 19-21, with the central moment of the event on Saturday, September 20. The stalls set up along the alleys — over a dozen — offered farmhouse bread baked in wood-fired ovens, dumplings, local sausages with sauerkraut, Krapfen, Strauben, and roasted chestnuts, accompanied by white wines from the Eisacktal.

As per tradition, the festival kicked off with the coronation of the Törggele Queen and concluded with the grand parade that wound through the village, amidst folk music and entertainment. As every mid-September, the event marked the opening of the Törggelen season in the Eisacktal valley.
