The third edition of the festival

The third edition of the Gargano Popular Theatre Festival kicked off on January 11 and 12, 2025, at the Lanzetta Auditorium in Vico del Gargano, with doors opening at 7:30 PM and the curtain rising at 8:15 PM. The season, which concluded on March 3, featured twelve theatrical performances with nine companies from across Central and Southern Italy and about one hundred actors, directors, and artists involved on stage and behind the scenes.

The opening show was "Cornuti & Contenti" by the Neapolitan company "Quelli che…il teatro", a comedy by Marco Lanzuise performed on both Saturday, January 11, and Sunday, January 12. Among the year's novelties was the partnership established with the Comprehensive Institute of Vico del Gargano, featuring a show dedicated to Don Pino Puglisi staged on February 13. The artistic direction also established the Gargano Popular Theatre Festival Award for the first time. The event was organized by the APS 'Ncvò Cappà 'Nsciaun with the support of the Municipality of Vico del Gargano and the patronage of the Province of Foggia and FITA.
