Edition 2025 — Games of the Gates
The 2025 edition of the Games of the Gates in Gualdo Tadino was held on September 27 and 28. Saturday, September 27 at 8:30 PM, the medieval Historical Pageant paraded with costumed figures from the 15th century from the four Gates — San Benedetto, San Donato, San Facondino, and San Martino. Sunday, September 28, the Palio of Saint Michael the Archangel was held, with the traditional competitions between the districts: slingshot shooting, archery, crossbow competition, and the donkey race in the main arena. The event, organized by the Ente Giochi de le Porte APS, animated the historic center of the Umbrian town with taverns, performances by drummers and flag-wavers, and the great participation of the Gualdo community.
