Edition 2025 — Gamberi Festival

The third edition of the Gamberi - Water Festival took place from September 5 to 7, 2025, in Comano Terme, in the Giudicarie Esteriori. The chosen theme, "Ice and Water," guided three days of scientific conferences, excursions, outdoor cinema, concerts, workshops, and dinners on bridges, with a special focus on the fragility of alpine glaciers and the protection of Trentino's river ecosystems.

2025 Edition: "Ice and Water"

The third edition of the Gamberi - Water Festival was held from September 5 to 7, 2025, in Comano Terme, with events spread across Ponte Arche and the valley. The central theme, "Ice and Water," highlighted local memory and the fragility of alpine ecosystems.

Key events included: the presentation of the book Ecominimalismo - L'arte perduta dell'essenziale by Elisa Nicoli (Friday, Sept 5), the "Science Square" featuring researchers from the Ice Memory and Water Observers projects dedicated to glaciers and rivers (Saturday, Sept 6), and the Crayfish Palio, a non-competitive race run backwards (Sunday, Sept 7). The program also included cycle tourism between the parish churches and springs of Rio Bianco, canyoning, sunrise hikes, park readings, yoga sessions, children's workshops, concerts, and documentary screenings in collaboration with the Trento Film Festival.

Friday, September 5: Presentation of the book "Ecominimalismo - L'arte perduta dell'essenziale" by Elisa Nicoli. Saturday, September 6: "Science Square" with the Ice Memory and Water Observers research projects dedicated to glaciers and rivers; excursions, workshops, and concerts. Sunday, September 7: "Crayfish Palio," a non-competitive race run backwards. Throughout the three days: cycle tourism between the parish churches and springs of Rio Bianco, canyoning, sunrise hikes, park readings, yoga, outdoor cinema, and dinners on bridges.
