Edition 2025 — Gallo Sausage Festival

In 2025, the Gallo Sausage Festival once again brought the Ferragosto celebration to life in the village of Tagliacozzo (AQ). On August 15th, the food stalls in the square offered grilled sausages, sausage sandwiches, pancetta, and steak, accompanied by local wine. The evening continued with live music and group dancing, confirming its status as one of the most beloved village festivals in the Marsica region.

Gallo Sausage Festival 2025

On August 15, 2025, the village of Gallo, in Tagliacozzo (L'Aquila), renewed its appointment with the Sausage Festival on Ferragosto. As per a tradition spanning over forty years, the stalls set up in the square opened in the late afternoon, offering grilled sausages, sausage sandwiches, pancetta, and steak, as well as local wine.

The evening was enlivened by live music and group dancing that involved residents and vacationers until late at night, in one of the most heartfelt summer festivals of the Abruzzo Marsica hinterland.
