Edition 2025 — Futuro Roma

The 2025 edition of Futuro Roma took place from May 10 to June 21, with the core of performances concentrated between May 16 and 25 at the Teatro Brancaccio and the outdoor spaces of the Via Merulana complex. The program included contemporary dance works, the Experimental Battle, public talks, workshops, and a final showcase dedicated to four international companies, concluding with the festival party.

Futuro Roma 2025

The 2025 edition of the festival kicked off on May 10 with a free outdoor opening curated by BrancaccioDanza, repeated on May 16, and then unfolded over ten days packed with performances, from May 16 to 25, at the Teatro Brancaccio in Rome.

The stage featured titles such as Blue Jeans, The day when i chose to be a daughter, Trittico, Giubo, Tell Us About the Future, Venticinque, E/U-topia, and Spoken Dance. Alongside the performances, events included a talk with audience Q&A, the Experimental Battle of urban dance, the 1M3 and SìR – Sharing in Roma workshops, Theatertelling training, and a Dance Well session at Villa Giulia.

The closing on May 25 featured the Open Stage with four international companies and the final party; the festival then concluded on June 21 with a stop outside Rome, in Alatri, in the province of Frosinone.
