Futura Festival

The first edition

Futura Festival debuted in Rome from September 6 to 27, 2025, distributed between the Ristorante Da Peppe space in Tor Cervara, the Casa del Municipio Ipazia di Alessandria, the Coffee Studio Records, Villa Farinacci, and the Centro Culturale Gabriella Ferri, all within Municipio IV.

The program opened on September 6 with the theatrical performance Femminile Single(are) by Carlotta Rondana. This was followed by the Gegè Munari concert (September 15), the sound engineering and mixing masterclass on September 16-17, the Petrucciani Tribute Quartet (September 18), La musica provata with Erri De Luca, Stefano Di Battista, and Nicky Nicolai (September 19), the Opera project by Andrea Rea and Flavio Boltro (September 21), the Luigi Del Prete trio (September 23), the Italian Dixie Band with Rita Marcotulli and the tribute to Lucio Dalla (September 25), Alessandro Preziosi's Tra musica e parole (September 26), and the closing on September 27 with the Coro Mani Bianche and the Paco Sery Group.

All events were free of charge with booking, and accessible with Italian Sign Language interpretation.

September 25: Italian Dixie Band, Rita Marcotulli, and tribute to Lucio Dalla with Nicky Nicolai. September 26: Alessandro Preziosi, Tra musica e parole, with Pasquale Innarella Quintet. September 27: Coro Mani Bianche and Paco Sery Group concert.

The artistic direction of Stefano Di Battista; the meeting between jazz and the spoken word with Erri De Luca and Alessandro Preziosi; the inclusive Di Segno in Suono project with the Coro Mani Bianche; the closing concert by the Paco Sery Group.
