Edition 2025 — Fuoricontesto

The first edition of Fuoricontesto took place in Rome from October 17 to November 27, 2025, between the Hacienda in the Collatino district and the DAF headquarters in Pietralata. Six weeks of contemporary dance, live music, installations, and creative workshops, all free of charge with booking. The festival, directed by Felicia Lo Mele, was a winner of the Roma Creativa 365 grant from Roma Capitale.

The first edition, autumn 2025

Fuoricontesto debuted on October 17, 2025, with an opening evening that combined an installation by the Riflessi collective and the musical project Armonia27, dedicated to live electronics. The festival then continued until November 27 with events spread over several weekends.

Among the titles on the program were the contemporary dance performances Grammar Is Not Epiphany and Curva - geometrie di artisti in transito, the Danza&Musica evening, an installation by Studio Clichè, and a music workshop with Alchemy Sound Sculpture. Pianist Francesco Taskayali held a concert in November.

All events were free of charge with mandatory online booking, held in the accessible spaces of Rome's Municipio IV.
