The 2025 edition: Sublime cliché at MACRO

In 2025, the festival left Via Nazionale to arrive at the MACRO - Museum of Contemporary Art of Rome, with the exhibition Sublime cliché curated by Saverio Verini and open from May 28 to August 24. The project investigated the relationship between the fellows—a temporary and cosmopolitan community—and the city that hosts them: Rome is present in all the selected works, without avoiding the confrontation with the ancient and the magnificence of the places, but also with more marginal contexts, in a dreamlike and unexpected vision where even the cliché can be sublimated.

On June 7, the museum hosted Live Live Live!, a day of performances, meetings, and free-admission concerts. The exhibition catalog, published by Drago, collects critical texts by Saverio Verini, Edoardo Albinati, and Michele Di Monte, along with images of the works and the installation.
