Fuori Posto Festival 2025: the thirteenth edition
From September 4 to 14, 2025, the park of Villa Carpegna in Rome hosted the thirteenth edition of the Fuori Posto Festival – Festival of Theatre at the Edge, conceived and produced by the Associazione Culturale Fuori Contesto with free admission for all events.
Among the works presented were Lull/Cullare, a sensory experience to be lived with eyes closed by Giuseppe Comuniello and Marilia Caso; Fili d'aria by Eleonora Tregambe and Chiara Borsella, accessible in Italian Sign Language; Free Five P, a theatrical escape game with a civic and environmental theme; Il mosaico perduto by Carlotta Solidea Aronica and Michele Breda; Rompicapo by Jessica Bertagni and Danilo Turnaturi; and Fiabe in trasloco by Alberto Catera, winner of the 2025 Liberi d'Arte Prize in the under-35 section. During the festival, the Premio Cambiare was also awarded, dedicated to artists and cultural productions capable of generating social transformation.
As artistic director Emilia Martinelli recalled, the common thread remained the work on the limit as a space for relationship, with a program attentive to the themes of accessibility, rights, and the environment.
