Edition 2025 — Fucino Potato Festival

The 26th edition of the Fucino PGI Potato Festival took place from August 1st to 3rd, 2025, in the historic Piazza Aia district of Celano. Three days of festivities included PGI potato tastings, live music, brass band concerts, folk dancing, and the traditional 'Ballo della Pupazza'. The edition was included in the celebrations for the bicentenary of the discovery of the painting of Maria SS. del Giubileo (1825), featuring a procession, a torchlight parade, and fireworks on the final evening of Sunday, August 3rd.

The 26th edition of the Fucino PGI Potato Festival was held from August 1st to 3rd, 2025, in the historic Piazza Aia district in Celano. Organized by the Confraternita di Maria SS. del Giubileo, the event combined the promotion of the typical product of the Fucino plain with religious celebrations in honor of the Madonna del Giubileo.

The program alternated moments of devotion—Holy Rosary, Holy Mass, and the investiture of new confreres—with festive evenings featuring PGI potato tastings, brass band concerts, folk dances, and the traditional Ballo della Pupazza. Great emphasis was placed on children with shows and the 1st Maria SS. del Giubileo Soccer Tournament. The concluding Sunday featured a solemn procession with a torchlight parade, fireworks, and the music and cabaret show "Puff… e Celano ride!". The 2025 edition was included in the celebrations for the bicentenary of the discovery of the painting of Maria SS. del Giubileo (1825).
