Edition 2025 — Fruttuaria Historical Re-enactment

In February 2025, the Fruttuaria Historical Re-enactment celebrated the 1022nd anniversary of the founding of the Abbey of Fruttuaria in San Benigno Canavese. This edition, curated by the Rievocando Fruttuaria historical group, featured a medieval costumed pageant, historical re-enactment moments related to the abbey's history, and the opening of the archaeological site, confirming the event as a core local tradition.

2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Fruttuaria Historical Re-enactment renewed the annual tribute in San Benigno Canavese, in the province of Turin, to the Abbey of Fruttuaria and its founder, William of Volpiano, on the occasion of the 1022nd anniversary of the laying of the first stone.

In 2025, the Rievocando Fruttuaria historical group, with the support of the Municipality and local associations, animated the town center with a historical pageant in medieval attire and initiatives dedicated to discovering the abbey's heritage, laying the groundwork for the major 1023rd-anniversary edition in 2026.
