Edition 2025 — From Etna to Gran Sasso
The 19th edition, from July 19 to 27, 2025
For nine evenings, from July 19 to 27, 2025, the historic center of Città Sant'Angelo hosted the nineteenth edition of "From Etna to Gran Sasso," transforming the village into a journey of flavors, colors, and culture between Abruzzo and Sicily.
The gastronomy of the two regions was the main attraction: on one side, Sicilian cuisine with arancini, cannoli, granita, and gelato; on the other, Abruzzese specialties such as arrosticini, with gluten-free options created in collaboration with the Italian Celiac Association. There was also ample space for crafts, with the Castelli ceramics from the historic majolica workshop of Antonio Di Simone, works in lava stone by master Barbaro Messina displayed in the Franciscan cloister, and the Abruzzese Artistic Craft Exhibition Board in the Coppa Zuccari Fondaci.
The program was completed by folklore, shows, and the participation of the Nicolosi community as a twinning partner, with the involvement of Coldiretti Campagna Amica, local associations, and the patronage of the Abruzzo Region.
