Edition 2025 — Frog Festival
In 2025, the Frog Festival once again enlivened Invillino di Villa Santina with its gastronomic and dancing nights. Fried frogs, accompanied by small fried squid, frico with polenta, and homemade gnocchi, attracted gourmets from all over Carnia, amidst live music, ballroom dancing, and charity initiatives.
The 2025 edition confirmed the success of one of Friuli Venezia Giulia's longest-running festivals. For several evenings between late May and early June, Invillino's stalls offered fried frogs and traditional Carnic dishes, while the dance floor came alive with dancing nights and live music. There was also space for the dart tournament and the charity relay, in a celebration that brought the entire community of the Villa Santina hamlet together.
