Frisella Festival

The 2025 edition of the Frisella Festival took place on Sunday, August 3 in Marittima, a hamlet of the Municipality of Diso, in Piazza Principe Umberto. This year, the Pro Loco Acquaviva Marittima once again proposed the proven formula that combines gastronomy and the musical tradition of Salento.

From 8:00 PM, the food stalls opened, featuring the friseddhra, topped with tomatoes, olive oil, and oregano, accompanied by other typical local flavors. In the evening, folk music arrived, and to crown the celebration, a pizzica concert with the Uccio Aloisi Gruppu, one of the historic names of the Salento tradition. The square turned into a great party of dance and conviviality until late at night.
